This summer holiday is short but fulfilling. It's just so special and unforgettable...
I spent the majority of my time working in the Press Center as one of the Editors of the English newsletter.
Unlike other of my volunteer team-mates working in other departments, I
could not watch the live matches and have much free time to explore
Beijing, however, I still enjoyed my work a lot.
Working overnight day by day did not weaken my passion; my motivation
was even stronger as times went by.When the first Issue was published,
I could hardly remember how much time and effort I have spent with my
colleagues.
From choosing our directions to tackling with all the challenges; from
facing the crisis of almost having the first publish delayed to
realizing how much people were expecting our newsletters. All the
problems we have gone through enriched my once in a lifetime 2008
Beijing Olympics experience.
Last but not least, thank you for all the supports from my Hong Kong G6
team-mates(esp my peers in the Editors' team, Wendy and Nicholas),
colleagues/volunteers from North China Uni of Technology and the others
who have provided us countless helps throughout our work!
And most importantly, thank you *my family* and friends for supporting
me to be a Beijing Olympic volunteer under all the uncertainties and
worries before the Olympics. You are the true volunteer's(Celia's)
volunteers(who provide helps and supports selflessly)! I love you all!
